Use Case 1 - Hybrid Cloud and DevOps

The Managed Enterprise Architecture includes on-premise installations of an existing system that has OEE, SPC, Track and Trace, and Business Connector, all from Sepasoft.

The development and test systems are hosted in the cloud, while the supervisory enterprise system is located in Azure and uses the EAM module for management purposes. The entire system is deployed in the customer's Azure tenant.

The justification for this architecture includes reduced labor and in-house skills needed, increased system capabilities through DevOps, improved security posture through integrated authentication and containers, and continuous updates and monitoring. The expected direct cost savings result in a 3-year payback on server procurement and support.
